Who am I Without Him?: Short Stories About Girls and the Boys in Their Lives is a book about girls and their issues with boys. I believe that the best story in the book was "Hunting for Boys." It was about 10 church-going best friends. These girls could not date, look at, or even think about boys--let alone wear short and tight clothing. They knew that if they did any that the trouble was on! They did it anyway by getting on a bus and heading to a bad part of town to meet some "bad boys." What do you think happened to them? This book is about the relationship between Jason and Kyra. Jason asks Kyra to the Homecoming dance. Kyra then overhears Lisa and her crew talking about how Lisa was "with him" a few weeks before! But then Jason and Kyra kiss for the very first time! I love this book because of how it takes place, how it's set up, and how the characters are so real. People should read this book because you'll end up not putting it down until you finish it!
